Social and Emotional Learning - for kids.
Through hands-on activities, play, discussion, and collaboration, the SEL workshop encourages building self-awareness, empathy, and emotional expression within themselves and with others.
Your kids will learn the about emotions in a fun, engaging way, and practice foundational skills in emotional regulation in the comfort of their own home.
Understanding emotions is a critical part of child development. The core goal is for kids to leave with the understanding that emotions are a natural part of being human - and that the ability to work with them is essential for making friends and getting through frustrating or stressful times.

Workshop Process
The two hour workshop will engage small groups of 2-6 children using LEGOs, butcher paper, crayons, and educational resources, all in the safety of their own home.
Here’s a breakdown of what the session will cover:
Building Rapport and Trust: We’ll start with fun, light-hearted activities that get kids comfortable using LEGO and sharing their thoughts in a safe, engaging space. This helps build trust and confidence while encouraging self-expression.
Understanding Emotions: We’ll talk about feelings and emotional intelligence. The kids will share their own experiences, and we’ll introduce simple skills to help them understand and name their emotions.
Applying Emotional Skills: We’ll focus on practical ways the kids can use these skills in their everyday lives - how they can recognize and express their emotions, show empathy toward others, and talk about their feelings in a caring and curious way.
At the end of the session, I provide parents with a handout that outlines the topics we discussed and practical ways you can support your child’s emotional growth at home.
By encouraging open conversations about emotions, you can help your child develop greater emotional intelligence, empathy, and resilience—all of which will benefit them as they grow.
